A lil bit about Tribe Nine Studios

Tribe Nine Studios is a lifestyle clothing brand with culture at its’ core. Since its’ inception in 2017, creative director, stylist, and designer Troy Oraine Williamson has morphed traditional idealism with contemporary sensibilities - essentially creating garments that reflect cultural differences and inspired by the appreciation of cultural integration.

Tribe Nine Studio pieces are inspired by traditional prints seen in townships in Africa, the vibrant hues of the Caribbean, the structural reverence of the Asian culture, and the gritty utilitarian lines in Europe. Stripes blend into prints, biker jackets are embellished with the same prints as kimonos, and androgyny is embraced. Tribe Nine Studio makes its own rules. Follow @tribeninestudios

A bit about the creative director

Troy Oraine is the guy behind Tribe Nine Studios. Former dancer and choreographer, now creative director and fashion designer is the chief of this tribe. His name is ever-present in many creative circles as a commercial and fashion stylist. In 2016, Troy moved to Jamaica from the UK to pursue his dream of building a Jamaican luxury brand. He uses his experiences working for a multi-branded sportswear showroom, as a photographer, and his particular affinity for everything fashion to inspire his customers to join him on the Tribe Nine Studios' journey into redefining Caribbean fashion and aesthetics.
